Manager - Manufacturing Engineering & Technology

Blue Origin Operations is looking for a manager in Huntsville to lead a team of manufacturing engineers who turn engineering designs into flight hardware. The manager hires, coaches and reviews engineers, plans headcount, and sets manufacturing strategy for a product area, including DFMA, PFMEA, process maturation and make-versus-buy work. The role also runs root cause analysis and continuous improvement programs, leads schedule recovery when builds slip, builds disposition paths for non-conforming hardware, and acts as the main manufacturing contact for design, quality, program and supplier teams. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace or a related engineering field, 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, and 2+ years of people management or formal technical leadership.
