CNC Machinist 2

Teledyne Brown Engineering is hiring a full-time CNC Machinist 2 in Huntsville. Under close supervision, the machinist runs CNC equipment that mills, drills, punches, broaches or reams metal and plastic parts, mostly on repetitive and large production runs. The job includes minor initial setups, adjustments to hold close tolerances, watching for machine malfunctions and using precision measuring tools. Applicants need a high school diploma, some vocational or technical training, and two to four years of directly related experience, plus the ability to use shop math and drawings. The posting says the position may require US citizenship with the ability to obtain a government security clearance and about 10% travel. The schedule is four 10-hour days per week.
