Privacy Policy

HSV Space Jobs is built to need as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it for us, and your choices.
The site is operated by the HSV Space Jobs team, an independent job board based in the Huntsville area ("HSV Space Jobs", "we", "us"). Contact: hsvspacejobs@outlook.com.
Summary
- We do not set cookies, and you don't need an account to use the site.
- We do not collect job applications or résumés. Apply buttons go to employers' own sites.
- We keep simple, anonymous page-view statistics without cookies or IP addresses.
- If you sign up for the weekly email, we store only your email address and its subscription status.
- We do not sell personal information.
When you browse the site
Our own page-view statistics
When a page loads, or when you click an Apply button, our server records an anonymous event so we can see which pages and jobs are useful. Each event contains:

Cloudflare
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics service that measures page loads and performance in aggregate. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
To limit abuse of our sign-up forms, we briefly keep a one-way hash of the requesting IP address in Cloudflare's cache. It expires within about an hour and is not stored with your email.
The weekly jobs email
If you subscribe, we store your email address, whether it is pending, confirmed or unsubscribed, and when those changes happened. We don't ask for your name.
- Double opt-in: you only receive the digest after you click the confirmation link. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Use: only to send the weekly HSV Space Jobs digest and messages about your subscription. We don't sell, rent or share the list.
- Unsubscribe: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe, your address is deleted within about 30 days.
- Emails are sent through Resend, and subscription records are stored in Cloudflare.
Employers and advertisers
If you submit a job through the Advertise form, we receive the company name, job title, location, job posting URL, and the contact name and email you provide. We also receive the time of the submission, the country it was sent from and a technical request ID. The details are delivered to our inbox by email (through Resend) so we can review the listing and reply. We keep them as long as needed to handle the request and for ordinary business records. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile.
Payments for Featured listings are handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We never see or store your full card number.
Cookies and browser storage
HSV Space Jobs does not currently set any cookies. Two features save information only in your own browser (local storage), and it is never sent to us:
- Light/dark mode: remembers the theme you chose.
- Résumé Builder: if you turn on autosave, your draft is saved in your browser so it's there when you come back. You can clear it from the Résumé Builder or by clearing your browser's site data.
The Cloudflare security check on the Advertise form may use technical signals of its own to tell people from bots, as described in Cloudflare's policy.
Third-party advertising
Current status: HSV Space Jobs does not currently show third-party ads, and no advertising cookies are used. The only paid promotion on the site is our own clearly labeled Featured job listings.
If we start showing third-party ads in the future, for example through Google AdSense, we will update this policy before they appear. In that case:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, would use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- You could opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ad Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- Where the law requires it, we would ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are set.
Links to employers and other sites
Job listings, guides and Apply buttons link to employers' career sites and other third-party websites. When you follow those links, the other site's privacy policy applies, including to any application you submit there.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the site and its users from fraud or abuse.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from the digest at any time using the link in any email.
- Email hsvspacejobs@outlook.com to ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Because page-view statistics are anonymous, we can't find or delete events for a specific person.
- Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local privacy laws. We'll respond to those requests as the law requires.
Children
HSV Space Jobs is a job site for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes, such as enabling third-party advertising, will be reflected here before they take effect.
