Structural Analyst II

This Blue Origin Engines role in Huntsville focuses on structural analysis of rocket engine hardware, including combustion devices, pressurized structures and heat exchangers. The analyst runs hand calculations and finite element analysis for strength, fatigue and creep, evaluates bolted joints, documents stress analysis for drawing release, supports test planning and builds automation tools for analysis work. Minimum requirements are a B.S. in an engineering discipline with 2+ years of experience, proficiency with a code such as ANSYS Workbench, Nastran, Abaqus or LS-Dyna, scripting experience, and experience analyzing combustion devices or heat exchangers.
