Principal Radar Systems Engineer

RTX's Surface Radars and Sensors Center wants a Principal Radar Systems Engineer in Huntsville to lead radar architecture and requirements work. The engineer will define and document modeling and simulation capabilities for Missile Defense System radars, write system-of-systems functional and performance requirements, describe algorithms, set up test scenarios and verification approaches, and benchmark algorithm designs. Applicants typically need a STEM degree, at least 8 years of relevant experience, radar or systems engineering background, signal processing or modeling experience, and programming in Matlab, Python, C/C++ or Java plus tools like DOORS. An active Secret clearance is required on day one, U.S. citizenship is required, relocation help is available, and the posted salary range is $107,500 to $204,500.
