Principal Design Integrity Checker

Raytheon's Hardware Design Integrity department wants a principal-level design integrity checker working onsite in Huntsville. Depending on background, the person reviews either mechanical or electrical technical data packages, verifying 2D drawings and model-based designs against ASME Y14.41 and MIL-STD-31000, and may later be trained on the other discipline. Requirements are a STEM bachelor's with 5 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with 3 years, or 9 years without a degree), 5 years designing, drafting or verifying TDPs, and CAD experience with discipline tools such as Creo or SolidWorks for mechanical work or Mentor software for electrical. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required, and relocation is offered. Pay is $86,800 to $165,200.
