Engineer - Propulsion III

Blue Origin's Engines business unit in Huntsville wants a propulsion engineer to help move rocket engine hardware into flight production. Day to day, the engineer resolves non-conforming parts, designs component improvements, makes engines easier to build, revises assembly procedures, and releases CAD and drawing changes through configuration management. Hardware may include structures, gimbal joints, flexible elements, insulation and pressurized fluid systems. Minimum requirements are a bachelor's in aerospace or mechanical engineering or equivalent, five or more years of component design, fabrication and assembly experience, 3D CAD skills with large assemblies, and GD&T knowledge. The role follows a standard Monday through Friday schedule, and the posting lists no pay range.
