Electromechanical Assembly & Test Technician

This senior technician role sits in Blue Origin Operations in Huntsville, with the Vertical Integration Strategy and Execution group, which is setting up new in-house production of critical hardware. The work covers power and control wiring, bus bar and high-current terminations, panel builds, precision mechanical assembly, and electrical acceptance testing such as megger, hipot, and continuity checks. Because the lines are new, procedures and tooling are still evolving. You would also troubleshoot and rework failures and train less-experienced technicians. Minimums include hands-on assembly experience, a high school diploma or GED, reading drawings and schematics, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Varied shifts or overtime may be required.
