Avionics Harness Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer II

Blue Origin's Blue National Security unit in Huntsville is hiring an engineer to handle the mechanical design and analysis of spacecraft electrical harnesses. The engineer creates 3D harness routing, interconnect diagrams, flattened-harness and installation drawings, designs brackets and other support hardware using GD&T, and checks that hardware with FEA and hand calculations. The posting requires a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, electromechanical or a related engineering field, 2+ years designing and integrating wire harnesses for spacecraft, launch vehicles, aircraft or similar systems, and 3D CAD routing experience (Creo is preferred). Applicants must meet Blue Origin's U.S. person requirement.
