Boeing says it has had a presence in Alabama for more than 60 years, with operations centered in Huntsville and more than 3,000 employees in the state. In April 2026 Boeing announced a seven-year framework with the Department of War to expand PAC-3 seeker production, citing more than $200 million invested in Huntsville since 2024, including a 35,000-square-foot facility expansion.
