Software Engineer

Leidos Defense Systems in Huntsville is hiring a software engineer for advanced technology radar programs. The work centers on C++ applications and backend software that connect to high-performance sensor and data processing hardware, covering data processing, visualization and system control, along with tuning latency and scalability and helping with integration, testing and deployment. Applicants need an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science bachelor's from an ABET-accredited school plus 2 to 4 or 4 to 8 years of software experience, C++ or a similar language, Linux, and multithreaded programming. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required, and candidates must live in or relocate to North Alabama. Posted pay is $69,550 to $125,725.
